Got Funds Today

Today is a payday for goverment servants. Got paid earlier because Chinese New Year is just around the corner. I checked my RHB Bank account today and suprisingly, I got funds! Yeah… It’s Google Adsense cheque ($105 USD) which converted to RM3.50 per dollar. Malaysian Ringgit is a little bit strong now and I’ve lost about RM0.25 sen per dollar. RHB Bank deduct RM15 for this transaction. (RM15 per cheque).

105 x 0.25 = RM26.25 (Lost this amount)

My expectation is: I will only get this funds after Chinese New Year because according to my calculation, it will be enough for 6 weeks since I deposited the cheque. So, RHB Bank takes 5 weeks to clear my foreign cheque. Usually, it will take 6 weeks before I see the money in my account. Huh, I use this funds to pay my bills online. RHB Bank got it, just like maybank2u.com.
