    Comment On Film: Gubra

I’ve just finished watching Gubra on Astro Ria, Channel 4.

    Gubra

    Here are my personal comments:
I’m attracted to their characters. I mean like Sharifah Amani and Adlin Aman Ramli. I give my vote to this young actress, Sharifah Amani. Congratulation! She performed well and I like the way she act in this film. No wonder she win the best actress award at the 19th Malaysian Film Festival 2006 and I hope that Sharifah Amani can do better on her next films. She got the talent and keep up the good work! Also congratulation to a woman behind the scene that make this film success, madam Yasmin Ahmad.

    Gubra

Gubra is a return to the same humanistic concerns of Sepet. But it is a different style of film, detached, darker, more complex and wider ranging in its focus.
